Something personal - There’s plenty of options when it comes to personalised prints for your loved ones. Our current favourite are these bespoke travel prints by Places and Spaces Art Co. You provide them with a couple of pictures from your holiday and they digitally make up a retro style composition amalgamating all the highlights from your break. All this work comes at a price of around £80 and can be ordered on their website.

Something funny - Jessie Cave does these hysterical doodle prints that epitomise the funny quirks of being in a relationship. You might recognise Jessie as Lavender Brown in the Harry Potter series  - fun fact! In terms of her prints you’re bound to find one you relate to, this is one of our favourites. The prints range from £30-£40 and can be found right here, and while you’re at it have a scroll through her Instagram (@jessiecave) for more lols.

Something within your budget - Many couples set themselves a budget for Valentine’s Day so they don’t go over the top. Surprise your other half with something more different than the standard chocolates and flowers with a typographic print for your home by designers like The Motivated Type. We found this cosy, winter vibes one on Notonthehighstreet for £7.95 but there are plenty of lovely ones to choose from.

Something that blows the budget - This person is pretty important to you right? Original art can be expensive but it’s unique and has a story behind it just like you both. If you are wanting to blow the bank this beautiful screen print by Lucie Sheridan shows a field of Cornflowers (much better than a bunch of roses) and tots up to £250. PS if that’s a little too much check out the rest of her range, many pieces for a more affordable £35.
